Exciting New Paperclipping Digi Show with Katie Pertiet and Me!
Today’s episode of the Paperclipping Digi Show is especially exciting. Designer and owner of Designer Digitals, Katie Pertiet was a guest. I have long admired Katie’s products, as well as the professional and creative atmosphere of Designer Digitals. As you can imagine, I was excited seeing as I was a guest on PDS today as well! The topic was making sure to set aside time for scrapbooking, despite a busy schedule.
You can check out the latest episode at Paperclipping. I can’t wait for all of you to hear it!

Earlier last week, I tripped on a discussion on Twitter about how designers are writing their product descriptions. Some designers, myself included, have taken to listing all of the elements in the kit, such as I have done with THIS KIT HERE. Come to find out, many of the customers involved in the discussion indicated that they didn’t really prefer this listing, and in some cases didn’t even read it. This boggled my mind, especially since I was sure that each of you was pouring over the detailed listing of elements I had been writing.
So, I am looking to you to further this conversation. When you are purchasing a product, do you prefer there to be a list of the elements in the kit, or would you rather see something like “over 50 elements.” I put together this quick poll so we could vote on it.
Even if you vote, I would love to further the conversation in the comments below. Tell me, if you voted for the listing, why did you vote for it? If you don’t really prefer the listing, why not? Are you even reading it? I look forward to hearing what you all think!

Read MoreDo You Have A Kindle? Do You Want One?
About a year ago, I bought a Kindle for my wife for her birthday. She is an avid reader, so the Kindle was a natural decision for her. Since then, she has fallen in love with it…and I have too. It’s so easy to use, and lightweight to hold and travel with. I love reading on books and magazines on it, but today I am here to share another cool thing about the Kindle with you.
Did you know that with the Kindle, you can subscribe to certain blogs? For a small monthly fee, you can have the content of your favorite blog delivered right to you Kindle. I had first heard about the option of subscribing to blogs a while back when The Daily Digi started being offered through the Amazon Kindle Store. You can check out The Daily Digi – Digital Scrapbooking Resource in the Amazon Kindle Store.
Well, as of yesterday, another familiar blog is available for your Kindle – THIS ONE!! That’s right, Sir Scrapalot Designs is now available to take with you on your Kindle. For a small monthly fee, you can get all of the Sir Scrapalot Designs post delivered right to your Kindle. I immediately subscribed to it on my DW’s Kindle, and I can tell you it looks great! All of the posts are there, along with all of the photos. I can imagine it would come in handy for those times when I am away from the internet, and still want to keep up with the blogs I subscribe to.
As if all this wasn’t cool enough, this week the price of the Kindle has dropped $70!!
There are also Free Kindle Apps that can be used on other devices such as iPhone and Blackberry. That’s just another way to check all this stuff out!
So, what do you think? Will you try Kindle out? Is the markdown attractive to you? Let’s talk!
