I am delighted to share with you today a HUGE collab that I was part of.  The We Are Family Collab was put together by Tara at Geek Chic Designs to benefit one of our dear digi friends, and CT member to many of us, Sally.  Sally was recently diagnosed with Cancer, and we are hoping the proceeds from this collab with help to offset her medical expenses.  You can check out Sally’s Blog to hear her story, and read about her progress.  Right now though, let’s check out the kit!!

To me, nothing says summer more than a nice slice of watermelon.  Even the greens, pinks, and reds of a watermelon have become synonymous with the summer season.  I absolutely love the classic mix of a good pink and green, so I looked to watermelon to inspire this newest kit, Watermelon Flowers!

I love how this kit came out!  It’s soft, yet spunky and both sweet and sour at the same time.  It would be perfect for summer layouts of the lovely ladies in your life, or fun summer activities.

My oldest DD is absolutely obsessed with the Fancy Nancy books by Jane O’Connor.  Two Halloweens ago, she even dressed up as Fancy Nancy.  So it was much to my amazement when a customer suggested that I do a Fancy Nancy kit, that I hadn’t already thought of something like that.  Needless to say, I took that idea and ran with it.  Check out Nancy.

I got a little nervous as I finished up the kit that I hadn’t really captured the “Fancy Nancy” feel, but I was reassured when my DD walked up to the screen, took one look and said, “Dad, that’s a Fancy Nancy kit!”
