What Would YOU Like to See Next Year?

As the year comes to a close, I am starting to plan out 2011. Over the next few weeks, I am going to be asking for your opinion on everything from new products to upcoming blog posts.

Today, I want to focus on new products. What types of products do you want to see in the upcoming year? Do you want more themed kits? Would you like to see a bigger focus on element and paper packs? Is there something you are dying to see created? If you have an answer to any of these questions, or have specific requests of products you would like to see, please let me know in the comments below. I truly value what YOU want to see, and will be figuring your responses into my larger plan.

I tend to buy more themed kits, especially seasonal/holiday-specific ones, unless it’s a great “everyday/project 365″ type of kit. However, more recently I’ve been looking for element/paper packs that are high-quality “generic” type stuff, like a pack of staples, stitching, kraft papers, etc. Stuff that I can mix and match with any kit when I need that perfect finishing touch, or solid paper. I have sooooo many kits at this point that I really shouldn’t allow myself to buy any more, so I’m trying to focus on buying things that can complement what I already have. And templates are always fabulous!

I really only purchase kits that include everything-elements and papers and even quickpages, clusters, and templates that are also included are an added bonus. I am looking for boy themes and mainly farm themes. tractors (prefer green :-) John Deere) manure tanks, wagons, hogs, corn, soybeans, silos, machine sheds, barns, grain bins, feeder wagons, nuts, bolts, hitch pins, etc. etc. I have lots of ideas for a kit, but don’t design kits :-) I have enough to do-lol! I have such a hard time finding good farm themed things-most are not what a real farm is like (and since I live on a real farm I have LOTS of farm photos and find the ‘farm kits’ that are available kind of cheesy and not what happens in the real world).

I also looks for bright kits in rainbow colors-think ROY G BIV. I like subtle colors too but have buckets of those types of kits but when I have a layout that needs bright papers and elements I have a hard time finding what I like/need.

I have a boys and a girl so I am non preferential from that respect :-)

I also agree with Michelle-stitching, staples, brads, etc. that are neutral-I am always on the lookout for high quality ‘generic’ elements.

that’s it for now! Good luck!

ps-if you decide you want to do a farm themed kit I would be happy to correspond with you about some things that happen in real life on a farm :-)

Since I have a boy and a girl and like to use my kits several times, I’m looking for kits that have are versatile enough for feminine and masculine pages — so flowers are great, but also include some stars or circles, etc.

There aren’t enough good stitching packs out there. :) They’re my addiction.

Kits for grown-up pages would be good as I’m trying to focus on my All About Me album this next year (following along with the LYM challenges).
